The little insets, especially the open mouth, make tiny glands I didn't know I had wriggle with joy.
(And you know what she reminds me of? 'Xenogenesis'. Way back when, I actually figured out a coherent concept/main plot thread for that. Pei was a fortune teller. It revolved around a stolen vial of the devil's semen. No, really.)
